How to Submit a Blog Post

Did you find a great unschooling blog post? Did you want to share your best post this month? Then you're in the right place!

 We're so happy you want to add an Unschooling Blog Post to the Carnival!!! It's like adding another booth at the Unschooling Midway. :)


Here are the Specifics!

  1. The 2013 Unschooling Blog Carnival will come out quarterly. Check back here to see what the upcoming deadline is.

  2. Submit the Blog Post Entry here with "Submitting for the Carnival" in the subject line.                 If you have any problems with our clickable link, send your information to UnschoolingBlogCarnival@gmail.com

    Please include the following information:
    •    Your name
    •    Title of Blog Post for Carnival
    •    URL for Blog Post for Carnival
  3. Bloggers can only submit one blog post per month. The blog post can be new or written specifically for the Carnival
  4. We've done away with the Themed Carnivals. Send your best blogpost or someone else's that you found particularly inspiring. 
  5. When you participate in the Unschooling Blog Carnival, your blog will be added to the Blog List on this blog.
  6. When the Carnival is uploaded, please link to it from your blog, share it on your Facebook page,  send the links to your email lists, send out tweets. This will help us get future submissions and give people more reasons to go to your blog!
  7. Please copy our Unschooling Blog Carnival badge on the home page, to your blog and link folks back here. 
  8. I'll send you an update when the Carnival is up! It would be really great if you'd "Follow the Unschooling Blog Carnival" through the link on the home page.

  1. I'm trying to submit one for March, but it seems as if the link for submissions opens up a blank page? Or maybe I have something disabled on my computer?

  2. It works for me. It's just a blank email going straight to the Carnival email address.
    All you have to do is put the information listed in #2, and send it.

    If for some reason your computer is disabling something, just send the info to
    UnschoolingBlogCarnival@gmail.com

  3. If I use the link, it wants to open an instance of MS-Outlook. I just use the email addy specified in the reply above (unschoolingblogcarnival@gmail.com)and send to that addy from my hotmail.com account.

  4. Is the deadline the 25th of the same month as the carnival, or the previous month before the carnival for that month?

  5. The "deadline"...which we have yet to adhere to... is the 25th of the previous month.
    So...May 25th would be the deadline for the June carnival.
